Gulaal !!

Being a Jain I have learnt not to waste water unnecessarily. But being a human I have experienced that never to waste a single moment which who knows can be unknowingly source of joy. Well this situation is truly a dilemma. Now how will I be able to play Holi. Water or colors or just social sites! Excess water usage will ruin my values; colors may be skin sensitive, while just plain texts would be boredom.

Well not wasting water literally makes sense. There is still a major chunk in India which still suffers of this water shortage problem. We people usually go insane when our comfort zones that is a.c., water coolers or fans suffer from glitch and we have to spend just few hours without them. But you know there are still people in this nation whose happiness doesn't lie in such luxurious materialistic things. Their happiness lies in just basic needs such as food, clothe and home.

I have been constantly reading the success story of startups nowadays. Be it the Bangalore Cleanliness startup or Indore's recent Med startup. Wow! Technically we have so much innovation that just one click and get the most desirable stuff ignoring all the vague.  But isn't it true that the more we are becoming technology driven, the more we are forgetting our values.  In India still only 38 percent people have access to internet. Many rural areas are still facing the issue of water shortage, power shortage, food etc. Here the point isn't to be sympathetic towards them. They better know how to prove their capabilities and strive for what they want.

The only point that is being exaggerated is we as future drivers should understand the value of our natural resources and should not take them for granted. We should be careful if any leakage occurs at our surroundings. We should consume only that much water that we require. I have learnt this value from my 4rth standard student.  One day she asked me for water. I served her full glass of water. She asked me to make it half. I asked her why? She replied ' I don't require full glass I just require half amount of it and we should not waste water. I gently smiled and thanked her for opening my eyes. Children may be small but give us big teachings in simplest ways. I f you see today not just Rajasthan even Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh are equally suffering the problem of water shortage.

Since its Holi, so reminder reminder!! On this occasion we will really prove to be sensitive and tolerant. But to overcome this issue Holi wouldn't be enough we every day need to follow few basics to eradicate this issue such as:
  •       Only consume that much of water which is required
  •     Use bucket instead of taking a shower
  •     Use rice water for washing utensils and mopping
  •     In case of any leakage repair it asap

If we all take an oath to follow such basic things we will certainly make this a better nation to reside in.

But the good thing is finally I am out of dilemma. I have found a wonderful way of celebrating Holi. How about celebrating this grand occasion with small kiddos? Because their smile heals every pain and so whole heartedly our AnantAman family invite you on this auspicious occasion of Holi to celebrate it with a social cause on 28th March 2k16.

This Holi, play safe, go eco-friendly & save water. Dry Holi is best Holi.

Happy Holi

Brief Report by Purva Banthiya :-

No matter how jovial we are, no matter how disappointed we go. Ultimately we have to move on and smile. Smile by doing what we like not by emulating others. With this exact set up strategy in our minds we the members of AnantAman social welfare soceity  headed towards our new destination. A venue which was hard to find as almost everyone of us discovered new unfolded pathways which in future might carry broaden horizons although it wasn't actually our present destination. Finally we assembled around 7:45 am with shivering hands and blizzardly faces we reached naya school, Malendi village near Mhow. The Panchayat people - Sarpanch , Aganwadi workers , ASHA workers greeted us and played a very crucial role in organising Health camp. Actually it was a free Health check up so as to spread awareness and uplift health status. It was under the supervision of Miss Raksha Goyal and Dr Arvind Jagnari .

The camp encompassed the following - body health check up, blood sugar test and urine test. People from the village  supported well and discussed their issues. Overall 150 registrations occured without any mess because of the support of dedicated members of our team- Varnini, Umang, Hitesh , Ankit, Palav, Purva and no doubt president of our ngo Hemant Gupta is always our forte. Monitoring,  surveillance and feedback are the major tools to be noted by any governing body. SDM(Mhow) Mr. Sandeep Rajapaa sir approached the camp and took an overview of all the task done . It's always a matter of pride being honoured by such  an ardent persona and so SDM sir merrily provided acknowledgement to one of the most dedicated member of our group Mr Raksha goyal. Although India lost the series this time but yet won the last match. As it is truly acceptable that if end is well all is well. So around 2 pm we packed up . After that we were offered lunch by the people of Malendi itself. It's always a matter of delight having traditional food and that too when served with so much of fondness with extreme care. Now we moved on with a promise of coming soon in the scorching heat but with soothing minds by enlightening 'आस' in the mass.

Life is not just about B to D

We love.we fight, we care, we laugh, we talk, we understand, we succeed, we ignore, we fail, we teach, we learn. Wow! We human beings live such an amazing life. But have you ever realised engender of our existence? Although we homo sapiens may be considered the most superior in the universe. May be because we understand, explain, analyse and interpret through emotions. But our superiority certainly depends on a number of factors be it living thing or non living thing. Can you imagine a Hospital without patients? Can uh ponder of an organisation which comprise of only CEO with no employees? Obviously not. Similarly it's really unauthentic to think of our lives without producers.Yes Plants. From our birth till death, they are the real livings which help us to survive and occupy unique positions in this universe. Well life is a not just about B to D(I.e. Birth to Death). Their comes a C in amidst of it and C represents exactly our journey — the Cycle. This journey is again incomplete actually impossible without other living creatures. Be it plants or animals. Try to imagine a world full of only homo sapiens. Oh god! how pathetic it would be but even after knowing every future consequence in this digitalised world the so called educated people are busy in becoming money monger. People have become so self centred that we have deduced the most acceptable joint family concept into nuclear family and now we are at the verge of vanishing all the forest areas so as to get a comfy bungalow with a number of gadgets. This is how we have limited ourselves but people where are your moral values gone? When in school the kids were supposed to do plantation which gave them immense pleasure and today the same kid has grown up into a gentleman but instead of planting he is deforesting. What has happened to us? This is a peak time we need to understand and fix our problems. We need to abort such activities and stop being so cruel. Otherwise the world full of only homosapiens would be worse than the vampire world. We really need to understand the real value of other living beings too be it a small microbe or a giant date palm plant because if we are able to breathe today, if we are able to have the luxurious food in various outlets, if we have tempting dwellings. The main engender beyond this is Plants. So get indulged in planting and promote planting.

Successful Plantation drive completed.

Cleanliness — Godliness

'Cleanliness is next to godliness' .This beautiful line truely fillls my heart with ecstasy whenever it strikes my ears.May be yesterday we had some loopholes, may be till today we have not yet improvised. But being a nifty neopyte i do believe that tommorrow will be a brighter day with completely revitalised thoughts and rejuvenated goals.I am neither a politician nor any party's immitator.I m just a common voice of lakhs of young bloods who wish to behold Indore city as safest as well cleanest city not just in India but in the whole world. It's the exacting time to spread awareness related to cleanliness and vanish the stingy smell widely spread in the avenues of our city.Because if we dream our city to become a 'smart city' we need to transgend it into 'cleanest city' foremost.I never consider picking broomsticks, capturing snaps and editing it by insta beauty on some oppulent occasions would create the difference. But i strongly believe that initiating such events and active participation in it on a regular basis with apt survillence would certainely aid and then our city will get it's right place in right terms being heart of Central India shimmering it's real essence.Although Indore being a very populous city of a rough estimate of around 30-50 lakhs people but still if we target small zones we can accomplish our objective.I simply meant if Indore can be referred as 'Mini Mumbai',if it can be an education hub,if it can be a food hub then why not cleanliness hub? Few steps to go ahead and certainely the scenario will change.Recently i visited to a small town Sailana (dist-Ratlam) which is being continuously awarded as cleanest town in Madhya Pradesh. That is not at all miracle,it's authentic because of the combined efforts of ruling body as well as residents residing there.Nobody ever dare to throw garbage on roads, proper garbage vehicles are allotted to each zone with door to door service in morning as well as evening.Every home is being allocated with a dustbin. So this  is exactly what needs to be done.If in a small town the level of awareness could be to such an extent, then Indore is a city where awareness is never a barrier.Even if a single voice will raise, lakhs will support if the content is appropiate. So unleash your potential and fulfill your urge of crowning your city with the sobriquet of 'the cleanest city' not just in India but in the whole world.Plz join our campaign 'Ek kadam swachta ki aur' to fulfill our dreams.
