First He - Latter She

FIRST HE, LATTER SHE  Instagram

Well I say; Grow-up people and cut the crap. I wish everyone could. People often discuss upon the sexual harassment & physical assaults; and every time end up agreeing on a solution that ‘its women who should wave her Right & adapt’.
It’s been a while now & the debate still continues, so it will in foreseeable future. The debate is a typical Boy-Gal differentiation that our society always put to hinder all efforts of establishing ‘Equality’. It arises of a situation where everyone easily concludes that it is woman who should, always, resist, adapt & move on.
We hardly stand with them & help them raise their voice against the wrong doers. Rapes & several other kinds of assaults have been increasing, actually they have been reported increasingly, as much as we hear of it we seem to settle with the fact that men aren't going to change therefore we should help our Mother, Wife, Sisters & Daughters learn some basic defence moves or perhaps, the complex ones too like Martial-Arts. It is good, very good though, as it will be beneficial to them somehow. Precisely women themselves have accepted this scenario as they carry pepper spray, mobile app, SOS tools etc; to help them out of danger. Yet again it is absolutely prudent to think about own safety. Ethically this should be second priority as it is a choice between Right & Right. Adopting preventive measures against a disease is good but when we can be immune as well as eliminate the roots of disease why not take steps towards this.
Logically, prevention can’t be ultimate solution. At times it may be helpful but often defensive moves would provoke the un-stable men to be more hostile; further leading women to be more vulnerable. Such threat would always prevail until men are well taught & become wise enough to respect opposite gender. When we come across something wrong which might someday cause harm to our loved ones what we do towards it, do we learn some fancy stuff so that we can prevent ourselves & let the cause exist or we chase it down and eliminate it. Similarly, why do we teach, rather dictate, females over what to do & what not to instead of teaching men how they should behave; why don’t we dictate them to be matured enough & keep a check over their testicles when they see women in short dresses around. When Mother teaches her son Manners why don’t she teach him to respect woman. When Father shows his son right path to success why don’t he guide his son about the relations of male & female. Why don’t Sisters teach their brothers grace, friendship & ability to respect the fact of equality between different man and woman. This rarely happens, we are into a World were men live & grow up with fake Masculine dominance and arrogance, it further takes us to gender discrimination due to which every time sword is dropped upon woman’s head. Below is the link which elaborates the fault in upbringing of a male child.

Above video would have justified my point? Basically boys don’t learn true values rather they are preached that, women are inferior to them, home-keeping servants or mere sex objects. This exacerbates the modern scenario. In a world like this teaching women martial arts is futile. If we wish to establish equality, it has to be worked from grass-root level and that starts our home, by teaching our father, brother, son & friends.

Pathetic it is, that we are into an age where we have to teach people to respect women.
