Walk of Life - A Race, A Chase

Walk of Life

"A never ending race and the great seat chase"

Right to education is a fundamental right of every Human Being, which seems to be violated by the Educational institutions by preventing admission or biased admission process. Parents often claim that admitting a child to a good school has become a feverish experience. They often say that "Admission process is not transparent and even after complying with all formalities uncertainty lies over admission into school". This predicament is created due to limitation of seats in prominent schools and thousands of applicants over them, in near future it is expected to exacerbate. This rush is no far from the day when parents will have to reserve a seat for their child before its birth. Scramble for seats begin soon after Diwali, while academic session starts from May.
We may say that Government is the culprit. But instead of inhibitions by Government, through "Right to Education Act", such as reserving 25% quota of total seats in an institution for economically weaker sections, amalgamations of cacodemon (either be rich or corrupt institutions) have always exploited rules for their benefit and to make money. Without any shame "Temples of Knowledge" demand donations and one time admission fees apart from tuition fees and lunch fees which are already very high. This is resulting in soaring of educational cost and making it more difficult for guardians to educate their children, while we say that education is an initial step towards development of the Nation. But present scenario is not favourable, Opaque admission process, Scramble for seats, high cost and in-affordability of education have become a part of never ending race in walk of life.
